When we were kids, my brother had a bunch of TF toys - this was mid-80's. But my dad is retired Air Force and we were stationed overseas in Germany at the time. There was a weight limit as to what the military would move. Your entire household had to be under a certain total weight amount, so we got rid of a BUNCH of things before we came back stateside in 1988.
Unfortunately, my brother's Transformers toys were a casualty of that move. I was always kinda sad, but in the past two years since getting into TF's for real (we didn't get the cartoon over there, just the toys =/), I've REALLY lamented those original figures. My brother and I were the kind to take care of our toys - didn't break them, rarely lost /anything/, things like that. What my parents still have has been well-loved and played with but is in REALLY good condition.
