Hair dye woes, pt 2

So, I tried dying my hair again, this time with my mom to actually APPLY the dye. Results? Almost worse than the first time I tried. At least that time my hair still looked natural. This time the little bit of light blond that frames my face went ORANGE (as far as I can tell-hair's still wet), and my roots and the darker blond that composes most of my hair didn't take AT ALL. *growl* I'm not a happy camper right now.
And for those who wanna know: I used the Herbal Essence Natural Instincts (Non-Permanent), in Spiced Tea.

Date: 2006-06-06 12:39 pm (UTC)The first time I played with those wash-outs, I got something called "copper red". It made my hair turn this punked magneta red color that everyone thought was trippy. Still, I was glad it wasn't permanent!

Anyway, hope it looks better when it's dry.
