But I seem to be the only one in my household who was. 5:24 AM, magnitude 4.7. More information here, at the U.S.G.S. website.

It was actually nice. Hard to believe, but I had missed earthquakes. It was a pleasant, rolling one, with the only disturbance in my house being creaking from the toys I had taken out of their packaging to play with, but had put back in for display/storage reasons, taped shut, and placed on my walls/door. Nothing had fallen down (though I had thought one or two of said displayed toys would), and there was no damages anywhere, even near the epicenter. The main quake was followed by many aftershocks, the most powerful of them being 1.9, while most of them were around 1.2-1.3 in magnitude.

Just thought I'd share that I felt it. ^_^

lol I prefer earthquakes to any other natural disaster. And small ones are fun to ride out. I guess growing up in earthquake country has taken all the fear out of me.

Yeah, I know. If it was in the middle of the day, it would have freaked me out.

BTW, I didn't feel it. It probably just rocked me to sleep. I woke up to my alarm radio and the hosts were talking about the earthquake for maybe twenty minutes, then they were like, "meh. Let's talk about more interesting stuff now."

lol Either that, or it just wasn't strong enough to feel up there. You're farther away from the epicenter than me, And I don't think it was noticed much further than southern San Jose. I love small earthquakes... A big one would've worried me, but small ones are like impromptu roller coasters. :D

I didn't even hear anything about it... I can see why, though, since it was a measly 4 pointer.

Just out of curiosity, what was the more interesting stuff the radio hosts talked about after that?

You... prefer earthquakes? (Laughs)
We should start a poll:
