Roller coaster kind of morning.

First, bad thing: I had my computer on a good part of yesterday and all night, so I shut it down this morning while I went to get breakfast. Came back and it wouldn't turn on! I thought it had finally given up and crashed on me. Called Mom in a panic and she got me calmed down. I waited a bit, working on my sock, then turned it back on. Luckily, it came back on.
Then good: I finished my sock! Yay! More on it later, though I still need to make the second one.
Then another bad thing: My chair that I bought and brought up and is so lovely and perfectly sized for me and not hard? It broke when I sat down on it wrong. ;_; One of the plastic pieces that holds the structure together came apart. Now I'm stuck with these stupid hard uncomfortable school chairs.
Now, more on the sock.
It is the sock I spoke of here. It is now finished, and I am so happy with it! I used the decrease bind off detailed here, and I even figured out a way to make the jog from the bind off less visible! Once you've gone around and bound off all the stitches and there's only one left on your right needle, take the left one and pick up the string right where you would if you were doing a make1 where the last stitch of the row went to the first of the bind off stitches. Make sure it's oriented the proper way, then do another decrease bind off stitch. Break the string and pull it through the loop to tighten, then pull it down and weave it in a couple rows down so that the stitch camoflauges the hole left by the make1. Tada! Now you can't see the jog when looking at it from far away!
Now, pictues! Be sure to hold your cursor over them, because I added notes. I've got skillz like that.
