1. Where's the interest in sharks come from? (I used to be interested in them when I was a kid, which I attribute to being a kid at the time that "Jaws" came out.)
I've always loved animals, and predators especially caught my interest. I really got into sharks because there's so little known about them, and they have such an undeserved rep. The fact that I think they're awesome-looking doesn't hurt. :D
2. How'd you get interested in Transformers?
Ooo, long story. Well, when I was a baby, my older brother was watching and loving G1. Mostly reruns, because I wasn't born until the same year as the movie, but my parents remember buying him the toys and watching him watch the show... Though his old TF toys were either lost to garage sales or got misplaced during one of his mother's many moves, we still have his TF bedspread.
Anyways, fast forward to me in middle school. I start having these faint memories of a cartoon show my brother watched that had cars that could become robots. Two episodes really stuck in my head. One was that there was an episode where a bunch of the good guys were in a race across Europe, and fights with the bad guys broke out during the race. (I now know this to be the episode Trans-Europe Express, which I still love.) The other was just an image of the good guys' leader standing on a ledge next to a waterfall, with a power plant on his other side. (I still haven't figured out which episode that this came from, though I had it narrowed down to two.) Anyways, I wanted to see this show again. However, I still hadn't figured out the fact that shows get taken off-air at that point. So I channel-surfed and found Beast Wars. Took be watching it a few times until I got hooked, but once I did, I was hooked. And later on I realized that this was a sequel of sorts to the show I had been trying to find. (At first I thought it was a rip-off. lol, Silly me.)
3. Do you use needles to knit or a loom?
Needles. I have a fair-sized collection know, including a set of Denise Interchangeables. Mmm... I did have these little circular looms when I was little, but I never could find a use for what I made with those outside of the occasional tube-dress for my Barbies.
4. Who's your favorite canon character and why? -- for whatever fandoms you're interested in.
Oh Primus... Honestly? I have seven favorites for BW (Cheetor, AR, BA, Tigatron, Silverbolt, Dinobot I, and Waspinator), and many more for G1 (mostly Autobots), and a bunch for other characters. I simply can't choose between lots of awesome characters!
5. Does it really rain a lot in the Sea-Tac area?
Some people may be astonished that it doesn't rain every day. However, we rarely go more than a week without some sort of drizzle. And we only really get one or two days of heavy, heavy rain. No thunderstorms.

1. How would you justify the relationship of an Aerialbot/Seeker couple/trio/whatever?
Ooo... That's increadibly tough... The only time I've ever even thought of it working was while reading "Adapt", and even then I'm fairly certain it falls apart after the story. Mostly I would see it as being unrequited crushes on the Aerialbots' part.
If they had to get together... It wouldn't be any canon Seeker. And the dynamics would be more about the opposites... (Kind of like BW Silverbolt and Blackarachnia, actually... At least in concept. Not the exact personalities.)
2. What is your favorite story to reread?
In books... Tamora Pierce's "Immortals" quartet. I also tend to reread the other four quartets of hers (Alanna's, Keladry's, and the two Circle of Magic ones). In fanfiction... I'm addicted to rereading "Adapt". >_>
3. What is your favorite fairy tale and why?
Cinderella. I'm a sucker for romance, and this is the classic romantic fairy tale. ...Not that there's any real romance in it...
4. When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a lot of things. A writer, a vet, a dog breeder, a scientist, a singer, just to name a few.
5. Favorite way to pamper yourself?
Sleep in, have a long, hot shower... Eat my favorite foods and just have a lazy day.

1. What type of animal do you think you're most like, and why?
I associate myself most closely with cats. I tend to be anti-social and a loner, unless I want and seek out company. Also, compared to my experience with my parents, my night vision is better than theirs, to a greater amount than any difference in daytime vision. Plus, I have a cat's curiosity.
...It doesn't hurt that I was born in the year of the Tiger. >_>
2. If you got paid to do anything at all, what would you do?
Paid to do anything at all... Probably play with Transformers. >_> Yeah, I'm obsessed and I admit it.
3. What is one pairing in Avatar that you really don't get, and why?
Ooo, this is hard... Because I can actually see all the major semi-canon pairings, even if they aren't my OTPs. Hmmm... Maybe any slash fics? For some reason, I just can't picture any of the guys with each other.
...Or Azula/anyone. 'Cause really, she's too sadistic and selfish to be with anyone.
4. Weren't our Mary Sues the greatest?
They were! Too bad I had to retire mine... Yours you can still write well to get away with without changing her core, but if I tweaked Flyby enough to make her not a Sue, she'd no longer be Flyby! Best just to leave her as an important milestone in my writing development.
5. Why in the world did you keep hanging out with a loser like me? I only drag you down!

You're my best friend, and the one who knows me best, faults and all. I love you (platonically), and that ain't going to change.
