I have a major idea I'd like to see as a fanfic, post-Deathly Hallows. I needed to get this out of my brain. Hopefully someone can write it... I don't have the eloquence needed to pull it off.
Alright, after Voldemort's defeated, there'd likely be trials for the Death Eaters, like there were after Voldy lost power the last time. Well, I can see Harry showing up at Narcissa Malfoy's trial, arguing that she should be pardoned. My reasoning?
In the clearing after Voldy "killed" Harry, and Narcissa was told to check to make sure Harry was dead, she had to make a choice. Voldemort or Draco. Telling Voldy that Harry was alive would assure Voldy would win, however there was a good chance that she'd lose her son. However, lying to Voldy would mean that she'd get a chance to look for and save her son, but she had to have known that it would also give Harry a chance to destroy Voldy. She chose to save Draco. In that she proved that she's a mother BEFORE being a Death Eater.
Two of the major themes in this last book are forgiveness and love, especially between family and friends. Harry learned forgiveness through finding out the bad and the good (respectively) in Dumbledore and Snape. I'm certain he'd also be able to see echoes of his own mother's love for him in Narcissa's love for Draco, and in that find forgiveness for her. Oh, he'd never like her, or hide the fact that he thinks she's not nice, but he can find something that redeems her. And in the end, Voldy would have been guaranteed a win if she hadn't betrayed him.
There's also the fact that she saved his life from Voldy. If she hadn't lied, Voldy would have killed him right there. What better way to repay that debt that to do what he can to save her from a fate worse than death? And Harry Potter showing public forgiveness to a member of a family he readily admits he hates would send a very strong signal to the rest of the wizarding world about the importance of forgiveness, even of former enemies.
So yes, I can see Harry arguing for Narcissa to be pardoned. I can't see him doing it for Lucius or Draco, but definitely for Narcissa.

... bugger...
You realize I'm going to have to write a Vera- be- damned* Harry Potter fan fic?
I blame you and your tricksy ways, Krysta. Oh yes, tricksy hobbitses**...
*Brust's Vlad Taltos series, one of Vlad's curses
**Oh, give me a break, you knew this one the moment you read the first 'tricksy'. Okay. Tolkien's Gollum.
