Late post-trip entry.

Posting this now because it was late when I got home Thursday night, and I worked all yesterday and I was lazy today, but now it's 11:49 and I should be sleeping for tomorrow's company picnic, but I want to post this.
Disneyland was fun! (Even though
niteflite walked my feet off, they only stopped hurting today, and the skin on the backs of my feet are still healing from where I rubbed the top layer off by bringing shoes that were really too new still.) We now have lots of good memories and good stories to tell, and we went on all the rides we wanted to and then some, and saw many good shows.
Also, I'm now hooked on pin trading! Em, you are so evil for doing this to me.
Here are the pins I ended up with at the end of the trip: (forgive the sideway-ness of the pics, I don't currently have anything to flip them, and I can't remember my Photobucket password, and don't want to mess with getting a new password until I have my comp back)

I only bought four of them: the two pins with Ariel in a dress, and the two Cars ones. The blue castle one came with the lanyard, which both came with the other special things on the trip (like one early morning entry, the park hopper passes, etc). The full-body Belle, the Aurora, and the gold castle pins were ones
niteflite gave me to trade with, but I ended up wanting to keep instead (though I'd trade Aurora for one of her with a sparkly skirt). The rest of the pins I traded for using pins she gave me to trade with.
Upper wallet:

Ursula's book says: Spells for Evil Sea Witches | Lockets and their Charms
Lower wallet: With flash for true colors, without so you can see those two Tinks!

Right side (when you wear it) lanyard:

Left side lanyard:

I did come back with a pin of Daisy in a space suit that was cute, but I traded it with
niteflite's father for the Ariel pin on the lanyard. What can I say? I like Ariel.
And the pin wallet? Made that myself Sunday night, using leftover felt from the Bamf doll I made
niteflite. However, it ended up being WAY too small. And my sewing skills aren't as good as I'd like them to be. The stitches in it are already coming loose. However, it has served its purpose. I'm now thinking of more permanent storage. Some sort of cross between a bag and a binder would be nice... (like a binder with a shoulder strap) Preferably one that's some sort of water-resistant. And then I could put in sheets of felt or cross-stitching canvas to hold the pins themselves.
Also, Em? I've been looking on eBay for cheap pins. Hey, it's my flea market! >_> And I've already won one bid with pins! Two Mickey pin trading pins, to be exact.

(Pic swiped from the eBay auction page.)
I ended up paying $6.30 total for those two, including shipping. Whee! That's less than the retail price of one pin! I'm also looking at larger lots, though the prices tend to get waaaaaaaaaaay jacked up on those.
However, there is one place where I get get a lot of the size I choose, with a set rate amount per pin! ...Only I don't know what pins I'll get until they get here. But they're really cheap! $2.39 a pin (plus shipping, but those are flat rates for certain numbers of pins bought). I'm just waiting to hear back from the seller on about how long shipping takes, so I know which address it'd be better to send it to, home or school. Store selling these cheap pins is here!
There's also one other person putting out lots of 30 pins for cheap, but there's enough negative feedback on that person's profile that I don't really want to chance it. A lot of the negative feedback was that the pins didn't get there, or that they were fakes. Since I don't want to really risk it, I'm not buying from that person.
And there are pics from the trip, though the ones on my camera are mostly the last day (since I forgot to take my camera to the park the first two days--whoops!). However, I haven't uploaded those pics yet, so they'll have to wait for another post.
