Not a good way to start off the school year...

As I was walking done one of the major streets near school, going from one store to another down the street, a guy in a car about to pull out of a parking lot waved me over. I refused with a shake of my head, but he kept trying to motion me over. Finally he gave me these hand signals like he was gonna go down the street and turn around to come back for me, then he turned out of the parking lot and went down the street. I fled as soon as he was out of sight.

I headed down to a street that was parallel to the one I had been on, and then took that to a street that would get me back to campus. I called my mom and she stayed on the phone with me until I was back at school, and suggested I report it to campus security. So, security was the first place I went and they took down the info about what had happened.

It just keeps going through the back of my mind that I was probably this: | | close to being kidnapped or raped.

I sure as heck won't be going off campus for a few days, though.

*kittensnugs* I already told ya this, sis, but I'm glad you're okay.

Maybe he just thought he recognized you from somewhere, but still... you did the right thing by leaving the area and notifying security ASAP.

(snugs back) Yeah. His actions set alarm bells ringing in the back of my head, and there was no way in HELL I was gonna stick around.
