RL strikes again...

So my BotCon post (with pictures) will be late. A little over a day after getting home and my laptop decides to break. Need to dig out the receipt (it's less than a year old!) and take it to the store to see if they can fix it. And the memory card I took my BotCon pictures on? Doesn't work with my mom's laptop so I can't load them on here for posting. Bah.

Ah well, such is life. I'm also one of the lucky ones to avoid the plague that got passed around at BotCon. Which is rather good, since I live with an immunodepressed person.

I also calculated out the mpg I got for the trip, and I stayed a bit above what Edmunds has estimated for the highway mpg for my car! Whoo! (Yes, I am a dork for being excited over that.)

Well, I got it to boot up again last night... It seems like there's a problem in the power circuit. It can't access/use the battery's power (though it's registering it's there and the power level in the battery), and if I move/hold it wrong it disrupts the power circuit. :( At least it's not something to do with the memory!

Fffft. I've known a lot of laptops that are like that. Must be a common thing. Yes! That would suck balls if it was the memory. >.
