My Handicrafter Yarn came in today! Must mention that said 17 skeins also had a size 6 29" circular needle with them, that I bought at the same time.

Also, FOs (Finished Objects, for those who can't speak 'Knitter'), and a WIP. ^_^

The two little white socks are the FOs. I wanted to try knitting socks, to see if it was as hard as everything I read made it seem to be. I used the training socks pattern from the Spring '05 Knitty article Socks 101 to make those two little guys, with some size 7 DPNs and some old acrylic yarn that my mom had bought to knit a blanket with long before I was born. I've been using the yarn mostly for practicing new techniques, though my first two knitting FOs were made with it (as I had no other yarn at that point). One sock has the top ribbed part folded down to show off the two styles it could be worn in.
The green WIP behind them is a bag I'm working on, with the sides propped up with skeins of yarn so that the details can be seen. The actual color is a tad brighter than it is in the picture, but oh well. I've promised myself I won't cast on anything else until I get this bag finished. The bigest problem I'm having with it is that I'm not sure how tall I want to make it... I'm tempted to just finish it off after this last repeat of the pattern that I'm 1 row away from completing, just so I can finish it off and be done with it.
Pencil is there for size reference.
